Soihtu Exhibitions Centre

The Exhibition Centre Soihtu provides you an introduction to the history of the University of Jyväskylä and its predecessors. The permanent exhibition gives you knowledge of the cultural-history continuum of the  University of Jyväskylä.

The Art Collection donated by lawer Jorma Tissari is on display in the Seminarium Building too. The collection represents Finnish mordernism of the 13 different artists of the 1900s.

The Exhibition Centre has also a hall called Kipinä for changing exhibitions.

Opening hours
Soihtu Exhibition Centre in Seminarium (S) building is open with opening hours on Wed-Fri 12 am-5 pm and Sat 12 am – 4 pm.
