Mattilanniemi The parks and lawns on the Mattilanniemi lakeside are green parts of the Jyväskylä. The green campus area is popular among residents of Jyväskylä in addition to the University community and visitors.

Älylä and Seminaarinrinne with famous residents The area got the nickname "teacher colony" because several lecturers and professors built their homes there.

Ylistönrinne Ylistönrinne is the third extension of the University of Jyväskylä campus areas. Construction focused on the hillside and the lakeside is reserved for pedestrians.
